Glance at the sun.
See the moon and the stars.
Gaze at the beauty of earth's greenings.
Now, think.

Final Treehouse Drawing
Here is my final sketch for my treehouse. Now I will start designing a poster to represent my treehouse!
Sketch, Sketch, Sketch
Here are some sketches I did for my treehouse. I started out with many different directions, and these just show a few of my favorites.
Sketches and Ideas
I placed the following images on my mood board. I was especially inspired by my little sister. She became the image for the persona this tree house was designed around. I also really liked the shapes found in some of these images.

Also, here is a sketch featuring one view of my tree.
Treehouse Project
For our next project we get to design a treehouse! The tree I chose when wandering through campus is pictured at the left. When looking for a tree, I was mostly looking for a tree that I could picture a structure sitting in. I loved the knobby aspect of this tree, and how large it was. Our next task will be to create a mood board, and figure out the direction we wish to take this project.

| New Signs for Stacks |
After extensive research, our group re-designed all of the signage for the Watson Library Stacks. Our process required several different test groups, and our final signs are pictured below. One of my responsibilities was changing the map of the stacks. By color coding and simplifying the information on the map it made the stacks much easier to navigate. I was happy with our final solution. Jason's video shows just how easy our signage made the route.
Wayfinding--Lana Finds the Stacks
For our group's wayfinding project, we chose
the 2 1/2 West Stacks in Watson Library.
This video shows our original test subject,
Lana, trying to find them.
